Dr. Éric Bensimon
Dr. Éric Bensimon obtained his medical degree from Université Laval de Québec in 1993. He then trained in plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal. After graduating as a plastic surgeon, he undertook a subspecialty in cranio-maxillofacial and aesthetic surgery at the University of Toronto. In addition to his purely aesthetic practice, Dr. Éric Bensimon is actively involved in teaching plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal. Dr. Bensimon is currently President of the Association des Spécialistes en Chirurgie Plastique et Esthétique du Québec and President of the Canadian Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr. Maud Bélanger
Dr. Maud Bélanger obtained her medical degree from Université Laval in Quebec City in 2005. In 2010, she completed her plastic surgery residency at Université de Montréal. She then pursued subspecialty training in microsurgery, breast surgery and gender-affirming surgery at the renowned UZ Ghent in Belgium.
Before devoting herself entirely to private practice, Dr. Bélanger worked at the Hôtel-Dieu de Saint-Jérôme. She now operates at the Centre Métropolitain de Chirurgie. Dr. Bélanger is also a clinical instructor for residents in training, and is responsible for the aesthetic component of the Plastic Surgery Program Committee of the Université de Montréal Faculty of Medicine. She is also actively involved in microsurgical training for plastic surgery residents, and in gender-affirmation surgery training for residents and specialists in multiple disciplines.
Dr. Bélanger is a meticulous, friendly, genuine and dedicated surgeon. She strives for excellence in everything she does. Her patients often describe her as an artist.
With the aim of continuing to improve her practice and the well-being of her patients, in 2022 she completed a Master's degree in Excellence in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA.
